Teaching Portfolio
Alice Marlow
During my time as a student teacher at The College of Idaho, I completed an Action Research project, connected with a student who I was teaching at Lincoln Elementary, my second placement. The girl I focused on was a second grader who was involved with multiple interventions to help her succeed in school. While I was beginning to gather data on her, I noticed that she was out of the classroom, in these various interventions for around three hours each day. This in turn caused me to wonder about intervention as a whole, if so much was necessary, how much is necessary and if all of the resources would end up helping her in the long run. My paper is linked below.
